Plot a Postcode
Japanese postcodes (zip codes, yuubinbango) are 7 digits long, separated by a hypen:
Like this: 810-0022
Type the first 3 digits into the first space in the form and the last 4 digits in the second field on the form.
If you only have the first 3 digits, leave the second field blank. If the first 3 digits relate to somewhere in our database, we will take you to the general area.
If you give us all 7 digits, and we can't find the specific place they relate to, we will use the first 3 digits to try and take you to the general area.
Note: - not everything that looks like a postcode relates to a geographical area - some codes have been assigned to large companies and are basically "box numbers". We can't plot such postcodes.
